Job Summary:Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary elementary school by performing routine custodial duties throughout classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and common areas.Responsibilities:Clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and offices.Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.Empty trash and recycling containers.Clean and restock restroom supplies.Operate floor cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for school events.Perform minor maintenance tasks and report repair needs.Follow safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.Assist with maintaining the exterior grounds around entrances and walkways as needed.Requirements:Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift.Ability to work independently and follow instructions.Dependable with a strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
